What We Store

The extension saves the following preferences locally on your device using chrome.storage.sync:

• Pet visibility toggle (on/off)
• Typing stats visibility toggle
• Pet size setting
• Language preference (English / Japanese / Korean)
• On-screen position (x/y coordinates)

This data is used solely to remember your preferences across browser sessions. It is never sent to any external server or third party.

Keyboard Events

Keyboard Pet listens to keyboard events only to trigger the pet's animation. The content of keystrokes is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. The extension only detects that a key was pressed — not which key.

No Data Collection

We do not collect:

• Personal identification information
• Browsing history or visited URLs
• Keystroke content or typing patterns
• Location data
• Any analytics or usage data

Third Parties

Keyboard Pet does not share any data with third parties. No advertising networks, analytics services, or external APIs are used.
